Surveyor/Civil Engineer:
Duties and responsibilities, Candidate will be required to perform the following:
Perform the function of Civil and Surveying engineering for non-industrial facility projects related to office buildings, residential houses as well as recreation and non- residential facilities.
Prepare civil designs for parking areas, roads, fire access roads, storm water drainage systems, grading, slopes, stairways, ramps, and walkways related to commercial, institutional, residential and office facilities from concept to detailed design including but not limited to scope of work, material specifications, technical assessment, design reviews and construction support.
Identify design requirements for civil elements including but not limited to parking areas, roads, fire access roads, storm water drainage systems, grading, slopes, stairways, ramps, and walkways.
Plan, schedule and provide work directions as required for the preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data. Prepare project proposals and initiate work scope outline.
Determine all required design elements necessary to comply with Saudi Aramco Standards, Saudi Arabia Ministry of Transportation Standards, and International Standards such as (AASHTO, IBC, IZC, ADA, ASCE, etc.).
Coordinate and development of work scopes and detailed technical specifications.
Assess projects, identify design requirements and prepare necessary design calculations using manual calculations and software such as AutoTURN for parking design.
Perform engineering assessments of civil and surveying deficiencies, failure analysis, provide remedial solutions, prepare and write technical reports and provides solution to complex technical problems and verify “As-Built” record drawings for accuracy.
Prepare design sketches, engineering drawings, perspectives, and details for engineering packages as required for all stages from concept to detail design. Perform site surveys using applicable equipment for inspections as required.
Work closely with scope writers to develop projects scope of work including technical documents and materials’ specifications.
Work closely with other disciplines within the division/unit to meet projects design objectives
Prepare and review 30, 60, 90, and 100 % issue for construction (IFC) Design packages.
Support project on-site execution, project proposals, suppliers, and technical specifications.
Lightening Engineer:
Position description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lighting Design Consultant to join the Engineering & Design Division of Community Services Technical Support Department. The Engineering & Design Division is responsible of providing Technical support to Community Services organizations in which includes Engineering services, technical consultation & construction support. The scope covers Saudi Aramco camps & all their associated facilities that varies from residential buildings to recreational buildings, daily operation requirements, maintenance and renovation works. The Lighting Design Specialist will be responsible of covering the engineering development, design consultation & construction support related to his specialized field creating innovative and functional lighting designs. He will work closely with architects, interior designers, and engineers to develop lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetics, functionality, and energy efficiency of the spaces. His
expertise in lighting principles, design software, and technical knowledge will be crucial in delivering exceptional lighting solutions.
Minimum requirements
Candidate shall hold a Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, interior design, electrical engineering, theater design, or a related field from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
Candidate shall have deep understanding of lighting principles, including the physics of light, color theory, lighting fixtures, lighting control systems, and energy efficiency. Familiarity with lighting design software and computer-aided design programs is preferred.
Ten (10) years practical experience with Proficiency in creating lighting layouts, calculating lighting requirements, and specifying lighting equipment.
Candidate shall:
Demonstrate proven experience as a Lighting Design Specialist, preferably with a portfolio showcasing successful projects in diverse industries.
Reveal Proficiency in lighting design software, such as AutoCAD, AGi32, Dialux, or similar tools is a requirement.
Demonstrate knowledge of lighting control systems, electrical systems, and building codes and regulations related to lighting design.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of lighting design principles, including color theory, light distribution, beam angles, and lighting controls.
Be familiar with lighting equipment, fixtures, lamps, and technologies, including LED, DMX, and wireless systems.
Be able to interpret architectural plans and technical drawings.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to project stakeholders.
Show strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities Candidate will be required to perform the following:
Collaborate with customers, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
Design, develop, and present conceptual and detailed lighting design packages, including layout, fixture selection, light levels, color schemes, control systems … etc.
Utilize computer-aided design softwares and lighting simulation tools to create accurate and detailed lighting plans.
Conduct on-site visits to assess existing lighting conditions, evaluate technical feasibility, and identify potential challenges.
Select appropriate lighting fixtures, lamps, and control systems based on project requirements, energy efficiency, and budget considerations.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and installation teams to ensure seamless implementation of lighting designs.
Stay up-to-date with emerging lighting technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve design capabilities and offer innovative solutions.
Conduct lighting tests, simulations, and mock-ups to evaluate and refine lighting designs.
Provide guidance and support to junior lighting designers or technicians, as needed.
Maintain a comprehensive library of lighting products, suppliers, and technical specifications.
Fire Engineer
Position Description
Senior Fire Protection Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of fire protection system, providing expert technical support to other engineers and architects and contractors. Shall handle all aspects of the design process, which can include analyzing the building, performing design calculations, preparing engineering drawings from concept to detailed design including scope of work, technical specification and choosing the appropriate fire protection system and equipment for installation.
Fire protection engineer is likewise tasked with overseeing personnel assigned to the project, and providing training and mentoring to junior engineering staff. He would also be responsible for performing quality assurance reviews for outsourced design project, conduct analysis, troubleshooting, develop technical report and providing solution to projects for on-site execution.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must possess BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering as minimum with emphasis on building trade Fire Protection and Suppression engineering.
Registered / Licensed professional fire protection engineer recognized by NFPA.
Minimum of fifteen to twenty (15 to 20) years of experience from date of graduation with ten (10) years senior experience in design related to Fire Protection and Suppression systems.
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, Hydraulic calculation, design details, using NFPA and IBC, Design Codes and Standards.
Extensive experience using US Design Codes (NFPA-13, NFPA- 20) Certified Fire Protection Specialist credential is preferred.
Well versed with National Fire Protection Association and other U.S. or European codes.

Duties and responsibilities
Perform the function of Fire Protection and Suppression design including production of construction documents related to CS project for commercial, institutional, residential and office facilities in accordance with NFPA, IRC, IBC and applicable building codes and standards.
Assess projects’ requirements, identify design requirement, conduct site visits, and prepare necessary design calculations using hand calculations and computer to run standard programs (such as Elite Software).
Determine all required design elements necessary for code compliance. Identify standard details and develop new details as required.
Prepare design packages for fire suppression systems including preparation of design drawings, scopes of work and technical specifications for piping, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, subsystems with all associated fixtures and fittings, pipe-work systems for water as well as Diesel fuel driven fire pumps.
Experience in HVAC and fire Alarm system and design is a plus.
Coordinate closely with scope writers to develop projects scope of work and technical specifications.
Resolve Fire protection engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
Conduct studies, technical assessments and develop technical reports.
Provide expert advice and assistance to design, construction, and maintenance engineers and operating personnel on all matters pertaining to the fire protection.
Outline design intent, requirements and objectives. Coordinates the project development and leads a group of professionals.
Participate in e-review of projects at different design stages. Review detail fire protection designs including sprinkler system design, pipe sizing, hydraulic demand calculations and layouts plans.
Coordinate with other organizations to track and close design review comments.
Prepare material take-offs for the work as applicable and coordinate with Cost Engineers on the development of projects’ estimates.
Support project on-site execution, project proposals and initiate detailed work outlines. Make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant when required.
